It's now 11 years since my father, Smilin' Jim Eanes, passed away.  For many of those years I have sold his material through record stores in his hometown of Martinsville, Va. Then one day my daughter suggested that we start a website dedicated to Grandpa.  I thought, what a novel idea. So, we typed in jimeanes.com and found someone already had the site. So out of the goodness of his heart, David Cannaday, allowed us to purchase the site...thanks David!

 

So, here we are, attempting to construct it.  Many of you knew my dad, his life and music.  I would appreciate any information, stories or pictures, you can add to this site.  This site is totally dedicate to my father.  It's special to us and we want to make it a tribute to dads life and career.  Go to the blog and enter your information.  If you would like, you can send me and email, until I get the web email set.
